«Charged» compact crossover Nissan Juke Nismo RS broke the record at Goodwood Festival of speed, driving on two wheels 1.86 kilometers in two minutes 10 seconds. The previous record, recorded at Goodwood in 2011, also belonged to the Nissan Juke, but normal, not RS-version. Then the car broke the distance in 2 minutes 55 seconds.
to set the record Juke Nismo RS had standard equipment. To perform the trick, the car first drove the left side on a special trampoline. Crossover ruled stuntman Terry Grant. He also belongs to the previous record for riding on two wheels.
Charged crossover is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine. On front-wheel drive version with a six-step “mechanics” of the engine power of 218 forces, and all-wheel drive with variable speed – 214 forces. A modification of the machine ran Grant, it is not reported. Presumably, it was the all-wheel drive version.
Festival of Speed opened June 25 and will last until 28 June. The event will be held many public premiere of the car. For example, “Nissan” will show at Goodwood special Juke-R with 600-horsepower engine.
